Protection for
Rights of Children
and Adolescents

IN 2023, 62 CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WERE ASSISTED IN 4 PROGRAMS.

The primary objective of the Children and Adolescents program is to promote, protect, and restore the rights of deprived or abused children and adolescents in our country.

To achieve this objective, we provide social services based on individual needs that promote personal development and raise awareness of personal rights to support restoring their rights and caring for themselves.

Boys and Girls in Situation Calle (Children living on the street)

This program supports ending homelessness among children and adolescents who are living on the street. It encourages them to exercise their rights, participate in their community, and the development of safe, secure living.

Prevention Program

Our Prevention Program is located in a specific community or territory. It works to resolve violations and minor legal offenses. It develops activities for children and teens, such as sports, arts, and prevention workshops, which include the responsible family or adult.

Family Home

This program works with the Family Court system to temporarily place seriously abused children and teens in safe homes with families to ensure their safety and security while in transition.

Foster Care

Our Foster Care program aims to restore the right to live in a family context to seriously abused children and teens ages 6-18. The focus of this program is to ensure an adequate quality of life, safeguard their physical and emotional security, and provide for their basic needs for normal development.
