They are part of an inspiring team working in the SUMATE Foundation!

Paula Montes, executive director of SUMATE-Hogar de Cristo, a foundation dedicated to retracing education trajectories for vulnerable children and youth out of school, is one of 100 leading women in Chile 2024. What encouraging news! Congrats, Paula.
 
The above joins another SUMATE recognition awarded to María Francisca Elgueta in 2022, a SUMATE teacher who won the Global Teacher Prize-Chile that year.
 
Also, in 2023, Darinka Suazo, a SUMATE teacher, was among the 21 semi-finalists of the Global Teacher program out of 2,500 participants.
 
What a great SUMATE team! They are transforming vulnerable lives through education every day.
