We’re pleased to inform you that Hogar de Cristo has been awarded by the largest global crowdfunding community GlobalGiving to recognize its efforts-performance during 2019 to support vulnerable young Chileans to complete their studies. More campaigns are scheduled to be launched in 2020.

Education, a fundamental human right and one of the most powerful tools in lifting socially excluded children and youth out of poverty. Over 200,000 are still excluded from the Education System in Chile; factors are multidimensional.
Through our own five Re-Entry Schools from Súmate-Hogar de Cristo, located in La Granja, Maipú, Renca, La Pintana, and Lota we’re changing the entire perception of schooling for At-risk vulnerable students to engage with the study. It’s an inclusive quality education model to help them to retrieve their learning trajectories and strengthen further on the next steps.
