Homelessness in Chile,

Every night, an estimated 20,000+ people find themselves without a place to go or sleep with dignity and security, that is, permanent housing. It’s inhuman and one of the cruelest and degrading ways of poverty, but also a matter of essential rights denied. Factors that trigger this tragedy are many, among others, the lack of affordable housing, long stories of deprivations, social exclusion, traumatic events, personal crisis, mental health, addictions, etc.
