GLOBAL TEACHER PRIZE 2023, CHILE  🇨🇱 
We’re almost there again!
 
For the 2nd consecutive year, a SUMATE teacher from Hogar de Cristo is among the 21 semi-finalists (from 2,500) for the Global Teacher Prize Chile Award 2023; the winner will be announced in November 2023. She is Darinka Suazo, a teacher from Nuevo Futuro Reentry SUMATE School, Concepción.
 
Last year, in 2022, María Francisca Elgueta won the Global Teacher Prize 2022. She is a teacher working at The Betania Reentry SUMATE School in Santiago.
 
The award is also named the “Nobel” of teaching to show the importance of teaching in societies worldwide and its contribution to innovative-inclusive education. The Global Teacher Prize Chile has been awarded annually since 2016 by Chile Elije Educar.
