IN 2023, 8,303 CHILDREN WERE WELCOMED IN 35 PROGRAMS.

Gaps in learning for children living in poverty start long before entering kindergarten. So, we must invest much more in early education and strengthen public policies.

Almost 6 out of 10 children from 0 to 4 years old do not attend preschool or kindergarten; 45% live in poverty nationwide.

Hogar de Cristo can serve over 8,303 children through 35 programs, and 64% face extreme monetary poverty.

We invite you to support this cause, which will increase the number of children attending our preschools and allow us to continue providing essential services to socially excluded communities.

Thousands of children live their first years in social exclusion, which is critical to their development. For this reason, delivering timely and quality early childhood education in kindergartens and preschools is fundamental.

Through our educational programs, we offer learning experiences appropriate for each child’s level of development and cultural environment. Through our experiential programs, children learn and grow in an educational community where they are respected and encouraged to be active participants in their learning.
