ChileMass Teachers Program 2022, Massachusetts,

Teachers have now accomplished their intensive English classes, fulfilling the first program stage. The second one started on Monday, Jan 31st, when teachers arrived at Boston for In-class courses On-Campus and other professional contacts and visits during their journey in Massachusetts.

One of the participants is Miss Ruth Retamales from Súmate Re-entry Schools-Hogar de Cristo-Chile, working with vulnerable children/youth that have faced the experience of exclusion from the education system.

“My goal in SUMATE foundation is to give our youth new-real meaning & importance of learning a foreign language, regardless of their previous frustrations and obstacles. An opportunity that provides a reliable tool for their plans, launching better prepared for the challenges ahead”. Ruth Retamales.
