Code Blue is on!

 
CODE BLUE has been activated in Santiago, Chile. The code triggers various government responses to provide shelter and support to those in the greatest need, especially those experiencing homelessness and life-threatening risks associated with extreme cold.
 
RUTA CALLE from Hogar de Cristo,
As Alberto Hurtado SJ taught us at the very beginning of the Hogar de Cristo, the organization (workers and volunteers) continues to hit the streets every week to help people at high risk, including those with severe health conditions, mental disabilities, or addictions. The RUTA CALLE program brings food, hot coffee, and blankets, but above all, it helps connect them with assistance networks or emergency services and offers accompaniment.
