About 16 percent of the 18,000 people living on the streets in Chile are Women. Stigma, bullying, struggle, uncertainty are just some of the threats for any homeless. BUT FOR WOMEN it’s by far more dangerous and humiliating! There’re several unique challenges only they know well: Have a period without access to supplies; permanently watching due to fear of sexual assault; to be pregnant and not have services they urgently need, etc.

Paloma (26), is homeless and has faced many of the above painful-terrible adversities. Recently we met her in one of our “territorial circles” where she had the opportunity to raise the voice and share her traumatic experiences and urgencies. MOST IMPORTANT, SHE WANTS TO START OVER!!

Let’s help Paloma and thousands of homeless women and men to transform their lives. DONATE HERE
