Mission accomplished. Bolivian people that were stranded in Santiago, Chile are going back home (Bolivia). It was a joint effort from Hogar de Cristo, Jesuit Migrant Service, City of Estación Central, Pullman Bus, the Chilean government, and many other generous people and organizations.

Hogar de Cristo, Jesuit Migrant Service, and the City of Estación Central together with other organizations joined efforts to bring assistance to 65 Bolivians people stranded in Chile with nowhere to go and no resources, as their country border is closed/restricted travel to narrow down risks of COVID-19. All of them are right now temporarily accommodated in a shelter enabled in Santa Cruz Parish (City of Estación Central, Chile).

Go back to their country, that’s what they are looking for but need help from authorities.

Many other immigrants are suffering in silence similar situations of living on the streets, facing isolation, harassment, and/or discriminations. They need to be listened to and helped as well!
