The Violins’ Journey project was formally launched on Tuesday, June 4th, by Hogar de Cristo & Desafio Levantemos Chile at Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda in Santiago (CCLM).

The 53 quality violins donated to Hogar de Cristo in the U.S. by the generosity of philanthropists in the Sarasota/Tampa area are being to 14 schools throughout Chile. The first ones were Elqui, this week Santiago, and then Chiloé, Rapa Nui, Punta Arenas, and see map at the bottom. These instruments will directly impact over 1,100 children/youth for years to come.

On October 26th, 2019 it is set a presentation in Santiago-Chile where benefited students will come from far away to perform a Santiago concert to show their skills and learning.
